| Reg had 2 goals before he had the incident..Enzo and Faster Pete each had one..... with 2 minutes to play and the MML down 4 to 3 they pulled their Goalie and wouldn't you know it we had Murray , Tom and Ron on the ice to defend ...3 really old almost 70 year olds ...so it was not good...but an errant pass by the bad guys was intercepted by Murray who shot a 7 MPH cannon at the empty net....they could have reached it but were so mesmerized by the incredible shot they just watched... and the Ref told me it would not have been Icing if we missed because the could have got it!!!!!! |
