Gray Blades come from behind to tie the Lyons!!!

John is telling Jim that we need a big game from him as we are playing last year's regular season winners, the Lyons, who are hell bent for leather on defeating us after we upset them in the Playoffs!!  Jim tells John that , with the passing of his Idol, Hugh Hefner, that he is not sure about having the energy needed to make it happen!!!And he was worried that the invitation to all the Gray Blades to the PlayBoy mansion  might fall through the cracks.

The Lyons had only 8 players to our 12 , but they got us down 3 to one before we knew what happened. During the Anthem tonight, most of the Gray Blades had trouble even standing up!!

They were all over us in the early going but Gerry kept us in the game

Hal, fresh from eye surgery joined us for his first game in the winter League..did a great job for a guy that could not see!!

down 3 to 1  as we entered the 3rd period , once again we looked to Jim Stone to get us out of this mess and he responded with flying colours setting up  Paul and Johnny to get the game all tied up!! Our other goal was scored by Faster Pete

But!!!!!....then WWF Star Reg the Sledge clipped Stothers who went down like a  Sissy Soccer Star and drew a penalty...and no cost for the embellishment!!..not to mention the Refs blew it by not sending him to the bench!!!

So with a minute to go, we managed to hold on with excellent work from the Def!!!!

And we got Tanya back after a hiatus!!!   Next week we get Andy back but we lose Colin and I believe Faster Pete as well

Gray Blades douse Urine Pond 3 to 2 in the winter season opener!!!

B4 the game Jim and John discuss strategy, like how to camouflage our grandfathers...we were missing Andy who is on holidays, Owen ,something similar, Kerry, who is studying moon rocks, and Hal who is getting new eyes..not to mention Quiggs and Mark who are on the shelf indefinitely 

And who are these guys? The best Ref, the head Ref and some guy that runs the league...Jim's son , Dylan,  donated a Sleeman's for the boy for the after game celebration!!

Tanya...you have been replaced!!!!!

Faster Pete just has a beer...no dinner

We welcome Paul Martin to our team who had a goal and assist in his debut!!!

Gerry who is filling in for Robbo was outstanding tonight...thought Robbo was in goal for a moment...we got off to a great start with 3 quick goals by Paul, Faster Pete and and Reggie... but then we let them back as they scored two unanswered goals and we were back to square one...but we held on for the victory....in the dying moments they pulled their goalie and so we sent out our empty net specialist....REG!!!....but there was so little time...the good news is that Jim Stone, once again had 3 assists tonight!!!!

Ron, however was unable to attend so Robbo was our fine MC

But the rumours are he was spending time with his PIG!!!!!..he can't help himself...he is only human!!!

2 perfect days, sunny and warm the whole day

WE donated dozens of golf balls to the two courses

Every body had a spot at the Cabins as were were not overbooked as it once seemed

For some reason there was no poker game this year, maybe Jarman didn't need the money

Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch at WS was excellent as usual

Both courses were in great shape

Once again Jarman wants to tell everyone how big his dick is!!1

Jim wants the new Marijuana laws to pass

Gord does not want me as a def partner!!

Playing in the dark at the Island green!!

So very few can hit the green in the daylight!!!

Jim almost made it to the end of the tee box this year!!
