Da Blades lose 4 to 1 to the upstart Envelopes!!!

Well.... we looked good before the game!!

Jim had another 3 assist performance but it wasn't enough!!

Robbo stoped all the first shots but, we did not take care of the 2nd shots 

The checking line opened the scoring by a seeing eye goal from Johnny to the top corner that Murray set up

Stone did not have the proper socks and maybe that was an omen!!1

Our top line was a minus 3!!!...Omaha is looming!!!

We decided to forgo Chueys as we did not want a sauna and elected to give the new restaurant upstairs a chance and they were quite respectful!!!!.....and most important Gordo returned and played very well...we need him badly!!!

so we called up Christian and Faster Murray!!

The heat was stifling at Schueys so we moved to the Deck

WE had goals by Steve, Reg and Stone

Reg was hacked and slashed all night and no penalties...and he lead off the scoring on a seeing eye goal from the slot that went into the net and through a gap between the ice and the iron..out the other side and the play continued!!!!...but eventually play was stopped and the goal was allowed!!

Louis came over and tried to tell Stone that he had no influence in the Tuesday League...Stone did not buy it!!!!!

And then Les Mulick had the Gall to visit us....he is the only guy in history to leave the Blades to go to another team!! But there is some good news, Stone had another 3 assist performance!!!!

Gray Blades win their first game of the summer series!!

We called up Christian to replace the out of town Colin

We squeaked a 5 to 4 victory over a team that had only 8 skaters!!!

Local Gray Blades have impromptu dinner at the Pump

We were lucky to get there as all traffic lights on the way were out

The Pumps Electrics were working and across the street they were not

This all started when we found out that Tuch was in town so we planned a dinner Friday night and it just got bigger!!

we are talking about Monday's upcoming game and when Gord can return to the line up....maybe by the end of the month
