Tom spent 6 minutes in the Penalty box serving time for Faster Pete

Pete could not solve the dressing room lock code after he got ejected 

Robbo is thinking Contract extension!!

Reg scored a beauty on a short handed goal towards the end of the double minor

Jennifer cannot believe she is serving Reg who scored the winning Goal...and Reg is busy texting his agent...wow she is excited and can you blame her!!

Stone had a hi Lite night again with 3 assists!!!

Marc played Def sometimes, and managed to score 2 goals including one short handed 

Jim Stone had 3 assists and this time they were all for the Blades ....says it's the Viagra that makes his shot harder!!

Reg had the single.....Robbo was in form, left him alone  a few times, but he is used to it

Jim buys everybody a beer after the game to atone for his miscue during the game.....bad precedent  as I will now have to take out a loan to pay for all  my mistakes

Our goals were by Reg and Johnny A...Robbo did not have a lot of help tonight and we did not show up....

Jim had 3 assists, 2 for us and one for the bad guys .. we made a late last period line change putting all our scorers on one line and they got 2 quickies right away and then the checking line let one in the very next shift!!

Gray Blades snatch Victory from the Jaws of Defeat!!!!

Early in the day the Gray Blades founders had Lunch with former Gray Blade and Toronto Maple Leaf, Ron Hurst at the Shopsy deli in Markham. We were at the monthly meeting with the NHL Oldtimer Alumni 

So on to tonights game where Robbo made the difference

After the first period we were down 3 to 1 as the MML took on 2 ringers from the previous game and seemed to have our number.....

but early in the 2nd, Gordo did a Bobby Orr and rallied the troops, to make it 3 to 2 for the bad guys

Next shift , Johnny A scored from behind the net that fooled their goalie....then off the faceoff, Faster Pete took it the whole way to make it 4 to 3 for the good guys and we never looked back

But there were some scary moments as Robbo had to stop 2 of their breakaways!!!! 

Reg capped it off with an empty netter to make 5 to 3 for the Blades...Reg has practiced endless hours on empty net shots and it finally paid off!  Reg is thinking of having a summer Camp hockey School for boys and Girls looking to improve their empty net chances!!1
