Owen prepared defensive tactics and positional play to defend against the Lyons offense. Coach Rich brought out the white board to show what Owen was talking about. The Blades were told that defending against the Lyons set plays was going to be the key to success.
As it turned out, Owen lost that guys after he said "listen carefully", because they decided that scoring 7 goals can also result in success.
Chads broke in on their goalie and put it along the ice for a goal. On the bench, he told Dryds that he was trying to go top shelf. Dryds and Rich got 3 assists each. Jim would have been proud. Paul and Reg got 2 goals each to round out the scoring.
