| Early in the day the Gray Blades founders had Lunch with former Gray Blade and Toronto Maple Leaf, Ron Hurst at the Shopsy deli in Markham. We were at the monthly meeting with the NHL Oldtimer Alumni |

| After the first period we were down 3 to 1 as the MML took on 2 ringers from the previous game and seemed to have our number..... |

| but early in the 2nd, Gordo did a Bobby Orr and rallied the troops, to make it 3 to 2 for the bad guys |

| Next shift , Johnny A scored from behind the net that fooled their goalie....then off the faceoff, Faster Pete took it the whole way to make it 4 to 3 for the good guys and we never looked back |

| But there were some scary moments as Robbo had to stop 2 of their breakaways!!!! |

| Reg capped it off with an empty netter to make 5 to 3 for the Blades...Reg has practiced endless hours on empty net shots and it finally paid off! Reg is thinking of having a summer Camp hockey School for boys and Girls looking to improve their empty net chances!!1 |
