Grand Bend Gray Blades win the last game of the Season 7 to 5

Finished 2nd over all for the 2016 - 2017 season

Did not have a good start as the Blind Refs allowed a goal in the early going to Urine Pond that only hit the Post and bounced out, so once a gain we were playing 2 teams...then Mur got a penalty for being in the way, meanwhile these Urine Pond  guys hooked and slashed and could do no wrong....how did we ever finish in 2nd place???/  Owen managed to get back in town, having been stranded at a Chicken Ranch in Vegas with no funds until Stone wired him some money from an anonymous major Super Bowl  Dollar winner from his party  (Craig??)  Got off to a strange start when Chads arrived before the Zamboni finished and Faster Pete arrived with no dinner??

Reggy was on fire, scored 4 goals and missed as many other opportunities...Andy and Stone set him up all night....Johnny  (Dear Leader) had 2 including a beauty where he beat the D and undressed their Goalie....Mark had the other, having missed the open net only seconds before....

So we head into the Playoffs next week missing Quiggs (upper body injury)...first game will be against the Lyons, a team the Blades brought into the League, that finished in 1st place and only lost one game all season

We were missing Robbo and are looking forward to having him back for the Playoffs
