Gary Blades pound Erin Mills 9 to Nuttin'

As usual , Murray is the first to arrive

We had 3 lines for the first time this season and we were still missing Kerry and Stone

Erin Mills were missing at least 3 of their top guys

Quiggs had 4 goals, 2 to Colin who played left wing and singles to Johnny, Andy and Murray

Reg had 3 assists, as did Tom, 2 assists  each to Mark, and Peter, and Gord.. (Tom is donating his assists to Stone and so is Reg, so Stone had 6 assists tonight, double his usual output!!  

We could have scored a lot more but we toned it down...and of course , Robbo had the shutout

This Sunday we play Faustina at the MasterCard Centre and next Thursday is the Blades Christmas Party at Jack's

So Murray  Dad and I are at Rick's Box at the ACC watching the Leafs lose when along comes Johnny Bower, who naturally wanted the Photo op opportunity, so we obliged!!

Flashback Feb 2007

The original Blades go to Rocky Crest for the World's largest Pond Hockey tournament...we were the only over 50's in a tournament that was essentially all young guys!!  The beer was good though!!!

Gray Blades dump Casey's 6 to 3

Blades need to step it up as we are in 3rd place prior to this game!

we were down 2 to 1 in the early going , but no problem!!

The Old Farts for Casey's were benched tonight but it did not work as our Old farts , Murray with 1 goal, Tom, with 2 assists and Stone with 1 assist made the difference..... I am donating my 2 assists to Stone so he can keep up his average!!

Andy had a goal and 2 assists and the last assist was a hi-lite reel goal pass to Reg for a one timer to seal the deal in the the last minute , Reg had 2 goals and an assist, Chads had a Goal and an assist and Mark had goal

And we should have scored more as we blew a lot of chances

In 2 weeks we will have our Christmas party at Jacks

Next Sunday we play Faustina at the MasterCard Centre on the Leafs practice Ice....look for the Leafs to be there if they lose the Saturday night game and what are the chances of that?
