Craigless Gray Blades pound the Blue 7 to 1

Jim is discussing strategy with Faster Pete

Reggie joins us as our call up to replace Ron Craig...notice the tan he has from a week of working out on the beach

Mark is ready for the nets knowing that I will not be on defence

We won 7 to 1 and Jim had a goal and 2 assists (for real)  Danny had 2, Johnny A had 2, JJ had one and Colin had a nice redirect leaving nobody on D during the drive

So... we have a month off before the winter season and Jim wants everybody to stay in shape

No more wings or fries and lots of Yoga and workouts

Great having Danny for the summer and his agent was not so stubborn, we would have him for the winter

Gray Blades tie Envelope 2 to 2 BORING!!!!

We wanted to tell Danny why to play with the Gray Blades this winter but we may have got the opposite affect

Dr Pete gave me a pefect pass to the slot where I oned timed a 6 MPH shot that completely handcuffed their goalie...when we asked the Goalie later on how he missed such a slow shot, he said ...Dr Pete PASSED the PUCK??!!

And Mark who filled in for Robbo did an admiral job considering for one brief minute, his entire team let him down...blowing a 2 nothing lead to let he envelopes back in the game...but the Envelopes had their best player, Larry on defence , which went a long way to helping our cause

After last night's lousy game, somebody suggested I change the lines, but I see only Blurred lines

Almost like a loss !!!!

Yes we tied...Had a 2 to 1 lead with 5 mins to go and we blew it

I tried to block that last shot but ended up screening Robbo instead...really I should trade myself!!

JJ and Faster Pete were our goal scorers

Next week play the Envelopes and Mark will be in net and he wants to have last say on the D

Which pretty much means I will be a forward for that Game!!!

The scene of the crime...Etobicoke Icesports, whose main doors were blocked...you needed a tour guide to get into the place

We out shot them and out played them

But the won 5 to 3 with the last one an empty netter

We were missing Ron Craig who would be gloating from this but he can't find our Blog

2 Goals by Mark and one by Stone , but our leading scorers were nowhere to be found

There is talk about making some massive changes

Maybe if we changed our waitress??

Danny claims to have the answer

Jim knows that he was a plus 2 tonight so all is well

I sold the team to Dr. Pete tonight for 5 bucks and future considerations

Gray Blades come from behind to defeat Envelopes 3 to 2

Jim Re Tapes his stick because he knows the pressure is on to continue his 3 assists per game performance

Robbo knows he can trust Gordo and Colin on "D" but who are the replacements

Jim welcomes back Faster Pete whom we have not seen for a month, and just in time as he scored two pivotal goals

down 2 to zip in the first period it was all uphill for us

But pesky for checking by PK,  and Robbo retuning to form made the difference

You can tell on their faces that we were done after the game...it is what you have to do to win 

Gordo had to play "D" with me tonight and he did not complain...and to our Russian followers that visit the sight more than the Gray Blades do ....I say .....WHY???

Captain Colin comes over to pick me up because I Lost my licence for 4 days due to Ontario Liberal BS

We pick up Danny as well

I helped the other team's cause by coughing the puck up in front of my on Goalie that led to a goal

... and our new Goon is Colin

Jim Stone scored a beauty and the others went to Dennis, PK and 2 nice roofers by Danny

Dennis picked up the Tab tonight because he was so delighted to be called up to play with the Gray Blades

Mark filled in admirably for Robbo tonight and his only problem was his own players, especially me

we discussed whether John should start playing Golf from the left side

And I may as well retire
