Gray Blades thump MML 5 to zippo!!!

The refs have #22 and #77 scoring for us but we don't have those numbers!!!

so here is the scoring, near as I could tell..Johnny  on an nice  tic tac from Hal and Tom, Reg had 2 Reg type goals and Steve and Stoner rounded out the scoring...to give us 5...and I should point out that is the best game we ever had after the Golf Weekend!!!!1

The Lynx team had a Hot head named Perry Janes (Dumb Ass name !!!) that had a slashing penalty and an Unsportsmanlike  penalty in the first period that cost their team 2 goals!!!!..so they were never able to catch up

although the game was fairly even, we prevailed because Neil, stood on his head and their Goalie was not having a good day...Jim Stone had the usual 3 assists

Missing tonight was Murray (upper Body injury) and Mark (whole Body injury)...Neil saved our ass again tonight which was part of our inspiration to turn things around....we passed to the other team more than to ours but they did the same!!! Johnny made some in game coaching changes that probably made the difference

We were down 4 to 1 with seven minutes to go when we sprung into action!!!!  First Enzo scored on a nice set up by Tom with a Reg type cruise to the Goal and a seeing eye shot and then Steve scored after a shot by Tom that went into the net off his glove and despite protests from the Blue Slime, the Goal was allowed.  shortly after that, Stone set up Steve for his second in a row!!!.. then Johnny redirected a pass from Tom between the Goalies legs to put the game away..that shot was clocked at 7 MPH!!!!!!!!

Hard to believe that the old Fart Tom had a 4 point night!!!!!...so we won 5 to 4   who would have thunk it!!!!

I was telling Jim that the real Estate business is filled with Slime!!..anyway see you all at the 46th GBI!!!!

Jennifer had a couple of Jugs to help drown our sorrow after a close 2 to 1 loss

We were missing Murray (upper body injury), Steve (Boston Fever) and Ron (Golfing)...Reg scored our only goal and almost had the game tied up in the late minutes when he hit the post and earlier Johnny redirected a Hal shot that their goalie was lucky enough to find in his glove...on the bright side the checking line of Tom, Hal and John went once again with no goals against...our Goalie was outstanding again

Jim Stone was able to notch 3 assist so all was not lost

Blades were missing Mark (lower body injury), Murray (upper Body injury) and Steve (Boston Fever) and we called up Colin from Omaha!!!!! We got the first 3 goals and then proceeded to let them back in the game..

Dana's Faster brother is reading the score sheet and notes that the scoring line of Stone, Reg , and Faster Pete got all 3 of our goals...and he points out that they were on for the 2 against!!!!!  Hal had a plethora of opportunities...but just could not find the net as their goalie had his number...our own goalie was great making up for the numerous passes we made to the other team.

So back at the Pub we are reminded not to pay attention to the Icesports schedule overhead as they had us playing at 8:15!!!....oh Yes . Stone had 3assists!!!!again!!!!

The fastest game we played this year and the score was one apiece!!

Jim Stone scored our only goal on a blistering shot near the crease that scared the shit out of the Blues goalie

Dana was relieved that he did not have to face Hal for another game!!! And I should point out that our call up Goalie, Leo,  from Omaha was spectacular in nets tonight, cause he had to be as we passed to the Blues more than they did to their team!!!

Shueys only had Jennifer to tend bar and the place was packed and if wasn't for Hal we would still be waiting for beer

Next game in 2 weeks...almost forgot, Joim Stone had 3 assists!!!

Gray Blades lose 3 to 1 playing 2 teams!!!!

Johnny scored our first goal  and I knew we were in trouble with the Refs when they put me on the scoresheet as the Goal Scorer when I was only the first to congratulate him...we were missing Murray (upper body injury), Jim (lower body injury) and Steve (Boston Fever)  ..and we called up Colin from Omaha to shore up the defence!!!

So we have Hal collide with his brother and he gets  the penalty when it was only an accident...a few seconds later Regs gets called when Big Dave Nicholas goes down because he lost his footing...The Envelopes scored with the 2 man advantage!!!

Later we get the 2 man advantage and we couldn't even get close...all shots missed the net!!

the refs gave out stupid penalties but we have no excuses...had lots of chances!!!Dana is thoroughly pissed at Hal and thought he should have had 6 minutes!

But couldn't hit a cow in the ass with a handful of rice!!!!!

Jim Stone was a heathy scratch but he did have 3 assists!!!
