Gary Blades win the Constipation Championship 1 to 0

The last game of the Winter season and we had Pauly in nets who was Fantastic (as Trump would say!!)

Also the last game for the Grandpa's

Our only goal was a beauty roofer from Mark assisted by Tom and Gordo

we were missing Dryds, Chads, Stoner, Owen , Quiggs, Robbo and Kerry ...and we still won!!!

After this we play in the Faustina Tournament in April and the Monday and Wednesday Summer leagues begin as well

Today the Grand Bend Invitational Tournament Invitations went out and you hope you were on the list

Some of our Fav Refs were tending the Bar tonight...I think the short guy Ref my PeeWee games..which makes him 105

And we fail to advance for the first time in several years......Chads had our only goal , a beauty on a great set up from Kerry and Reg

WE were missing 6 players , so we had only 8 and ran out of gas quickly as they had 15 players

Stone had an upper body injury as did Andy...Owen and Gordo and Quiggs were away on Undercover government business....which leaves Colin as a last minute scratch due to the flu......not a great way to end the year and next week we play our 3rd late game out of 4....Brutal.....Jim Stone had 3 assists

Like the Leafs, we called up the young talent but it wasn't enough

We didn't allow much protection for Paul who tended the cage

First time in quite a while that we lost to these guys

We were missing Quiggs and Dryds, so that made it a  bit of a challenge. We were down 1 to zip on a short handed goal they surprised us with in the first period.

Johnny Annan flew in all the way from Mexico for the game and was only there for the last 2 shifts, but he helped set up the winner. Makes you wonder why Quiggs could not have flown in from Florida and shown the same dedication!!

Super Pest Kerry had 2 and Reg had the others however they both missed on breakaways that could have put the game away sooner.... and Jim Stone had 3 assists!!!!....Next week we play Lyons and have to win to go to the Dance
