With only 1 point in the last 2 games the pressure was on

Jim was determined to change that...he is missing a lot of games lately

So we won 7 to nothing and Robbo got another shuttout

 Johnny A , far left got a Hat Trick and 2 assists

Andy, on the left also got a Hat trick but with 3 assists...and Ron , on the right played his last game as a 64 year old and is about to turn 65 but there will be no special birthday party for him as his brother is not up to it

Jim is preparing for his annual Super bowl Party...about the 30th time or so,  the whole world is invited , so we will see you there

Dr Pete, as you can see is colour matched with Gord...a Coincidence ?

Reg was a plus 6 tonight wit 3 assists

Next game, we are missing  Owen, Jim and Ron...so back to 2 lines...the usual   OH and Colin had a nice seeing eye goal from the point....giving the 1B line their only plus (Mark, Peter C and Stone)

Tonight we won , even without John Jarman , who has retired, growing a beard and reciting Poetry..and I hear will be Justin Trudeau's new press secretary

Gray Blades tie Casey's 1 to 1

We had only 9 skaters to their 11.  Robbo and our defence were damn good but our forwards could only come up with one goal, a beauty, shorthanded by Andy set up nicely by Reg.  Tonight Andy donned #9, Steve's sweater, and it was nice to see.

Gray Blades lose 2 to 1 to 7th place Harco !!!!!!!!!

We had our only goal by Johnny A assisted by Tom and Gordo...first time I mentioned assist in awhile since we only had one goal


We peppered their Goalie but he stood on his head........we might have left with a tie but with 5 seconds  remaining and both defence in the attacking zone they got a break a way and that wast it

We were down 1 to zip in the early going and could not solve their Goalie

Then Colin does a Bobby Orr and rushes the length of the ice and makes a goal mouth pass to Murray who one times it in the net to get us back in the game

Then we get one from Mark and later Andy (from behind the net) and we put it away

Colin was in on all 3 goals so he gets the first star

We had our Blades Christmas party but not many of the ladies showed up

John Sudac watched the game and shared a few pops with us...he has moved from Kingston tho the Niagara district

The Ref gave Gord a penalty in the dying minutes for whatever..we don't know...if you are reading this blog, Mr Ref, get a job in the government...you would be perfect

The Girls know enough not to watch our game....its not bedtime yet
