Sunday Dec 8th Gray Blades defeat Etobicoke Oldimers 6 to 2

Jim (who had to leave early) hams it up for the camera with his buddy Pete

Reg is asking Jim for some tips on back checking!!

Ron is trying to get his pants on here

As Robbo was away  and Kelly and Mark have both retired we had Charles Manson fill in nets for us today

Dennis returned to help on the "D" today

And Bill Hagan, with the Ipad took pictures of us in action...they will appear on the Blog soon...and as for the Game...we has a goal by Reg and Johnny A and 4, yes 4, by Mark, fresh from his retirement in the nets......

Gray Blades lose to Old Basterds 5 to 2

Only our 2nd loss of the Season....we get a 2 to zip lead on goals by Reg and Andy and then proceed to fall  apart...Mark lost his first in net in the the Last 2 years filling in for Robbo and proclaimed his retirement tonight...looking at me as he made the announcement...So next week we play the early game and will have our Christmas Party at DiSavinos with any poor significant others that wants to show up...they can park at my house until the game is over....We could have beat these guys..... and the next time we play them, the guy in the Red helmet will cower as we will sic PK and Stone on him.......

Gray Blades defeat Urine Pond 3 to 2

Sandy comes in at the last minute to bail us out...making for 10 skaters

2 goals by Andy and one by Mark made the difference

Robbo saved our bacon again as the defence left him tonight

Ron and Peter C will be away next week so once again we have to invent defence men

Mark will fill in for Robbo..so another week with only 2 lines

20 Bucks

Gray Blades lose sqeaker

Da Blades lost their first game of the season....Stone had 2 assists but was a minus 3 tonight...we are hoping he will make the next game

Goals by Johnny A and Reg had 2 beauties

Our call up Sandy had a great game and we will need him again

next week we are missing 2 D, COLIN AND GORDO,  so here is hoping Owen and Ron can make it back.

Yes you can see the dejection on our faces as we lose for the first time...but it took 9 games for it to happen

However, there is always beer in the end....even though the waitresses took forever to serve us at.......JACK ASTOR'S

there seems to be a disagreement here???

Gray Blades tie Erin Mills 3 to 3

That's all I've got!!

Gray Blades tie Casey's 4 to 4

Robbo arriving not sure about who  the defence will be??  Do I tell him now that we have only 3 D and 5 forwards? Casey's will have 11 skaters and no pylons

Very upset that there are no Gummy Bears available

Jim insisted that we go to Jacks...one of the Refs who will be nameless  (Mark's Buddy), who thinks he was a former PRO, was at it again last night....he should run for the NDP...they are looking for whack jobs.....

r

Jim played a major role in our comeback tonight as he sat out Gords penalty

 Tanya loves the Blades

OK  so we went up 2 to Zip and one goal was short handed..next thing you know we were down 4 to 2..... so a  unanswered goal got us back to 3 to 4...and with moments remaining we tied it at 4 with Johnny A notching...2  goals by Andy, and Rej and JA had the others

Jim is telling me that I was an excellent Pylon tonight
