Disasterous results for 2 teams

Canada drops semi-final game to Germans at the Olympics + the Gray Blades drop playoff opener to Lyons 3-1.
Owen is disappointed that the Blades did not execute his game plan. He is even more pissed that Coach Willie Desjardins did not follow his instructions found in his latest literary classic titled "How my teams beat the Germans - Twice".

Robbo comes out of Thursday night retirement. Jerry has a mangled knee and is finished for the season. Paul scored on a nice wrap around play. The Gray Blades had many other chances to score but like Team Canada, the final score was nfg.

Colin is giving Paul some tips to improve his scoring prowess. The Lyons boys are in the background.

Gray Blades pull off a narrow escape and defeat Mimico 4 to 3

Brendan, are call up from Omaha came to the rescue tonight, Gerry was injured and Robbo was not available. He got us the win

Hal had a shot at the empty net in the final minutes of the game but fanned, he needs to talk to Reg !! The good news is that , that Lost Fireman from Canada, found in California, was not Faster Pete....Whew!!!!!

Owen is telling the head Ref that he has a much bigger dick than he has...apparently Lindsay Lohan can attest to this!!!!

These Mimico guys, must go through a few sticks per season.....Andy had some guys initials carved on his sweater

2 Goals by Andy, who forgot his gloves? and one each by Paul and Kerry (who scored the winner late in the 3rd period...so fast that the closest Ref could not see it go in and had to conference with the other Ref after the play to confirm the goal)......

We were hacked and slashed all night long and the Refs let it go....but the good news is that Stone, Ice fishing in Jarman's back yard had 3 assists

Next week the Playoffs begin and we play Lions at 9:15

We finished 2nd overall for the winter season

only 4 souls showed up at the bar...and make a note that Reg will be looking after the blog while I am in La La Land scouting and practicing my shots

Great to see Quiggs back and hoping he will return to the line up soon!! and yes that is a salt stained impression of a Penis next to Faster Pete's bag that is pointing in the direction of the Coopers dressing room!! What does it mean????

You can see the concern, John is worried that we will have only 8 skaters and that was what happened, and Jim just gave up drinking so he has nothing to look forward to

They had about 12 skaters to our 8 and they gave us a go, but we had Gerry in net, so they never had a chance

we were missing Chads, Owen, Paul, Andy and Kerry...and we still won!!!!..Go figure!!!

as a consolation prize of having spent over $1000, at the last 4 Stone Super Bowl Parties and having won DaDa, Jim gave me this pink elephant pen...you can see that I am beside myself!! I am going to dedicate myself to finding out what happened to the Stone Limo that night and where the hell did Owen end up????

Jim Stone, once again had a 3 assist performance tonight and together with his Break away goal won him the first Star!!!

Johnny had a partial break away in the 3rd period for the attempt at the Hat Trick but was thwarted...and Hal drew a penalty to a Cooppers player that was so out raged , he managed to get 2 game misconducts...he didn't like Hal's uniform or something!!!
