Blades bow to Old Basterds 6 to 3

The Blades allowed 18 goals against in 4 games....lost 4 in a row...basically folded like a Zeller's tent...probably need a new coach. Last night goals were by, Mark, Jim and Murray. I ried to pick a fight with their #10, little shrimp, but I'll get him next season.

WE lost 4 to 2  to the Old Basterds

Even had we won we would not advance as we would be tied and lose on the goal spread

We sure could have used Steve in this series..Mark and Peter C scored our only goals.....our next game is at 10:15 against the same Old Basterds..I think we should offer them a draw and go to the Pub..we had a few wobblies at Jack's tonight and had a good turnout of 9 guys, which is a lot for a late game. We just seemed to age in this series as the last 2 game we were not really in it...I know that it is the only time we had 3 lines and it is harder to get in the game, but mostly we didn't change nearly as fast as we should have. The shifts were too long.
