Gray Blades tie Old Buddies 1 to 1

Preparing to play the 1st Place team and looking forward to the return of Steve

Robbo was huge tonight as he left no rebounds and kept us in the game

This team has a few morons on their squad including # 10 who should be neutered

Steve scored our only goal on a change up from the blue line a la Dr MacPete

Peter C got kicked out of the game early for taking exception to # 10 trying to nut our goalie...and never seen Owen so pissed

Gray Blades bounce back and beat Urine Pond 3 to zippo

Getting ready for the game and a bit concerned about last weeks humiliating loss to Horizon, but with the return of Owen we have some hope that we can turn it around

And in the early going it looks good as our Rover scores the 1st goal on a great play Owen to JJ to me..I just had to tap it in

Then later, Peter scores from Stoner and Gordo

Robbo returns for the shutout and you can tell by the gleam in his eye he is glad to be back

Insurance goal to make to 3 to 0 .... I saw Peter's stomach..aimed for it..got it..dropped to his stick..over to Mark..roofed it

They were a very stick unfriendly team..glad to dispatch them...we are now tied for 1st with the Buddies and Hawks

Gray Blades lose to lowly Horizon

We couldn't hit a cow in the ass with a handful of rice...where is Tuch when you need him? We lost 2 to 1

Jim grabs a quick drink before the game unaware of the terrible fate that lies ahead...we called up Marty and were missing Murray, Steve, Owen, Ron and Peter C

Kelly is soon to find out that some 30 shots from our side were ineffective

Barbara consoles us after the loss with some draught beer....Jake got our only goal

Gray Blades come from behind to defeat Erin Mills 5 to 3

 Going into the 3rd Period, the Blades were down 3 to 2 and playing poorly, when all of a sudden we got 3 unanswered goals from Pete, Mark and JJ to turn the tables

With 7 minutes to go, the extremely vicious Tingey was trying to carve our Goalie in front of our net when I naturally tried  to remove him by tapping him lightly, for which I had to serve 6 minutes.

For those 6 minutes, Erin Mills was all but helpless as the Blades showed why we are the defending champs. They barely registered a shot on net and when they did , Kelly stood her ground

Dr Pete was the first Star as he finally corrected his skating problem and had a 3 point night

Jim Stone, head of recruiting welcomes the signing of Peter Critikos, free agent , to an entry level multi year contract
