Gray Blades blow 4 to 2 summer opener lead for a tie with the Blues 4 All:
Goals by Jake, Kevin, Dr. Pete and Tom were not enough. The Blues Goalie
left midway through the game, injured on a blistering shot by Tom early
in the 2nd period. By that time we had a 4 to 2 lead and played
pussyfoot around their inserted D in the net. When a relief Goalie
appeared in the 3rd, it was too late as we lost our momentum and they
scored 2 quick ones to tie the game up. The Blades welcome Kevin and
Mark to the fold and we are still waiting to hear from Ron Sampson. ( He has since said he is on board)
